Okay, this isn’t an observation deck and you won’t get a birds-eye view of the Dallas’ skyscrapers but it’s still a really cool view of the Trinity River and Trinity Groves. General admission to the Perot Museum of Nature and Science for nonmembers starts at $13 for kids and $20 for adults. Take the glass-encased escalator upstairs- it only goes up! The escalator seems to float in air and allows skyline views of Dallas. The famed architectural pioneering museum does not have a ton of skyline views but there is one in particular you absolutely must see. Admission is $18 for adults and $14 for youths. Although the subject may be morbid, the museum still has a picturesque view of Dealey Plaza and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. Located on the West End of Downtown Dallas, this museum is dedicated to none other than the assassination of John F. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students with ID, and $7 for children aged 3 – 17 years old. You can’t go all the way up to the Clock Tower but the entire museum is lined with windows, giving you several different views of Dealey Plaza. You’ll have to purchase regular admission to the GeO-Deck if you want to visit the cafe but it’s totally worth it! Dine in the clouds, with a revolving view of Dallas! You can also visit Five-Sixty by Wolgang Puck in the same location but it will come with a higher bill. Children under 3 are always free! Cloud Nine CafeĬloud Nine Cafe is also located inside of Reunion Tower but we think it deserves its own shout-out. If you plan on seeing multiple attractions in Dallas, CityPASS includes admission to GeO-Deck and is a great way to get discounted tickets. Admission ranges from $8 to $22, depending on the time of day you want to visit and how old you. The GeO-Deck has plenty to do- take in the sights, view Dallas through the telescopes, and other fun family-friendly activities.
